Le sucre fond dans l’eau. La neige fond au soleil. « On fond, ici ! » expression familière = Quelle chaleur !  Qu’il fait chaud !  On meurt de chaud, etc. Car lorsqu’il fait tellement chaud qu’on transpire autant qu’un glaçon au soleil, on a vraiment l’impression de fondre.
